She is just Like My Own Daughter

Penny is about my daughter's age, in her mid twenties.  She called in the middle of the night inquiring of what to do should her father passes on.  She told me there was no possibility of him seeing the dawn of a new day and told me to be on standby for her call.

Popped into my mind was the image of this young girl who was trying to be calm and collected on the other end of the line and yet feeling a little lost in facing this sad eventuality. I promised myself to offer care and comfort in whatever way possible to help her.

Some three hours later, the phone rang again and this was it.  I dispatched our service team to Selayang Hospital where Penny and her family awaited.

At Nirvana Memorial Center, we met up to finalise and formalise the details. Penny, her two brothers and Mum were seen chatting away and were all awed at the elegant ambiance of our memorial center.  They all concurred that it was the right decision to have the wake service carried out at Nirvana Memorial Center.

We then proceeded to Nirvana Semenyih to check out the choices of urn columbariums.  From the old hill's Chinese Dynasty Urn Compartments to Oriental Villa at the new hills located at Nirvana Memorial Garden, Penny's mum found an ideal final resting place for her beloved husband.  The family was all delighted to share the same opinion that their father deserved none other than Oriental Villa as his eternity home.

With the permission from Penny (1st on the left), her mummy and her two brothers, this picture is published to speak of their late father's wish that the family should not be sad when he is gone but to pick up from where he has left and be strong.

I wish Mrs Kok, Penny, Timmy and Tommy best of health, prosperity and happiness always.

Penny, if you are reading this posting, Auntie Jenny is giving you a warm hug here and will always help you whenever you need me.  Remember your Daddy has never really left ...
