Relocation service during Qing Ming

Mr C engaged my service to relocate his late dad from KL Sungei Besi Kwong Tung cemetery to Nirvana Shah Alam Ming Palace 3 columbarium a month ago.

A Pre-requisition was lodged at the KL Kwong Tung Cemetery 2 weeks ahead of to the actual exhumation work by our Relocation Master, Mr Yap.

This was followed by selecting an auspicious day based on Mr Chan’s family members lunar calendar date of birth to avoid any bad omens.

Subsequent to that, a sifu was present on the day to perform prayer at the tomb site to invite the soul to leave the grave. 

The exhumation works started before dawn and usually will complete within 3 hours.

For this case, everything was smooth running and the ash urn was transported to Nirvana Shah Alam Tua Pek Gong to pay respect to the Cemetery God before the installation ceremony at the columbarium.

Mr C and his family were very pleased with our team effort and services.  They were relieved as the future Qing Ming ritual can be much more convenient and they will treat this as their family yearly gathering place too.

REMAINS RELOCATION

Mei (Not her real name) called me two weeks ago enquiring about relocating her grandfather's remains.

She sounded like it needs to be done fast. She was concerned that her grandfather's grave maybe affected by the rapid development at that area and those graves around the area where her grandfather was buried during 1945 Japanese occupation time were not prominently identified. The family does not want to take chance and wish to have the grandfather relocated as soon as possible.

We quickly worked on her request by choosing an auspicious day based on their dates of birth of those who are participating in the relocation matters. This is to avoid "clashing of bad luck" on the relocation day.

Two weeks later, we headed over to the grounds together with a Cantonese Nammo Sifu.  Prayers were conducted on site to "invite the deceased to rise" and Master Yap, our relocation master and his workers began with the earth breaking ceremony.

Reaching into the casket took only about half an hour's time and Master Yap started to retrieve the bones that was buried for more than 70 years.  To our surprise, a pair of shoes were even found underground together with fragments of bones that were very much intact, including the skull and its lower jaw with teeth.

The family was very happy as they did not expect to find anything since their father/grandfather has been buried for such a long time.  

Master Yap later carried out a proper burning of the bones and transferred them into a marble urn before letting Mei's father carried to Nirvana Shah Alam Memorial Park for the installation at Ming Palace 1 columbarium.  

On arrival at Nirvana Shah Alam, the Cantonese Nammo Sifu conducted the installation prayer together with "Wong Bei" (House Warming/Prospering the tomb) ceremony which signified the completion of the Deceased's new home.  The normal "Wong Bei" ceremony is usually done within the next 100 days after the installation of the ashes as lead time to complete the plaque's photo requires minimum 45 days.  This way, we saved the family from returning for a second round prayer. 

It was a successful exercise involved much planning and working before hand in order to ensure a smooth run of the entire process. With much dedications, we made the family very happy by seeing the relocation of their loved one completed without a hitch.

Remains Relocation

Mdm Lam came back from Paris for her annual summer break. She is my client-turned-friend, Mdm Mak's old confidant.

Mdm Lam is 78 years old and is very much bustling with physical activities. She can fly non-stop from London to KL and continue with her routine the next day without feeling jet-lagged. Besides, she is also keeping a very clear and superbly brilliant mind.

A gutsy and vigilant lady, Mdm Lam came to me for the advice of relocating her late mum's remains from Seremban Christian Cemetery to Nirvana Perpetual Garden Columbarium, possibly within the 3 months holidays when she was in town.

We immediately charted out the timeline and schedule and worked with our Relocation Master, Mr Yap for the necessary preparation works, i.e Site Inspection at Seremban Christian Cemetery to identify the tomb, obtaining Police Report for the approval to remove the remains, obtaining the Cemetery Authority's approval and finally, deciding on the auspicious day to conduct the actual work.

In the meantime, Mdm Lam also chose the compartment for her late mum and one for herself so that she could envision one day being reunited with her beloved mum the day they meet again.

All works were carried out very smoothly on that promising day and we were all happy to see that Mr Yap had done an excellent and distinctive job that the remains of bones were all carefully retrieved and clearly shown to Mdm Lam via photographs taken in every step. Mr Yap even leveled up the demolished tomb with soil and its surrounding was all cleaned up to the requirement of the authority.

We completed the entire relocation exercise within a day, from morning 6am and ended at 12pm to the satisfaction and expectation of Mdm Lam.

Remains Relocation Service

Remains relocation has been part of our services all these years, other than our normal day to day marketing of "Final Resting Place" and "Funeral Service Package" as known to the general public.

As a reliable and responsible agent tasked by our client's family to oversee the entire process of relocating their beloved ancestor, we manage our job and enlighten our client every step of the way to the minute possible in order to fulfill the trust bestowed upon us.

Complete with the latest IT technologies, we even do live postings on social platforms i.e whats-app, viber or twitting to keep the families abroad abreast with the progress.  We are fully aware that everyone is eager to know if everything is going smoothly at the burial site.

Mr Lim's family got in touched with me one day to find out if I can help out in relocating their late father who was buried at the Ulu Yam Lama Chinese Cemetery, Selangor to Nirvana Shah Alam, Ming Palace Columbarium.  I gave them a thorough presentation and showed them my passed experiences that we are a team of highly professional and responsible people who place client's needs as our first priority.

After choosing an ideal Urn Compartment for their late father's new home, we moved on to engage an honorable Hokkian Sai Kong (Taoist Priest), Master Lim, to conduct the rituals both at the Ulu Yam cemetery as well as the installation ceremony at the new urn compartment.  This is to lead and invite the soul from the burial ground to rest in peace at his new place. The prayers process was being observed thoroughly and seriously as relocation is a matter that cannot be taken lightly.

The process also included having Master Lim to go to Mr Lim's house to install the Ancestral Pedestal after the relocation exercise. That way, the family can take comfort that their beloved father has been brought back to a place much closer to the children and most importantly, Mr Lim's mother was all smile seeing all the photos uploaded live during the process and feeling relieved that her wish to bring him back was being fulfilled satisfactorily.

While the digging takes place, the family proceeded to have their morning tea as the process of reaching to the casket may take an hour or so

Proper documentation have to be done 10 days prior to the actual exhumation day, that including "Site Recci" to identify the tomb with the family members

Ash Urn arrived safely at Nirvana Shah Alam.  Prayer at the "Tua Pek Kong" temple as a mark of arrival and to pay respect to the God

Full prayer offerings including food and paraphernalia well prepared by our team so that the family need not have to worry about going round to hunt for them

It is normally the Senior male from the family (the son/s) who will be tasked to check the alignment of the urn's position to ensure that the deceased is being placed in proper disposition 

Sheng Ji Tomb and Relocation Service Completed within Two Months

I am truly grateful and blessed to be given the opportunity to meet with this client, Samantha, who came along one day with her mother and sister to Nirvana Shah Alam to check out the products we have to offer.

Samantha's mum was looking out for a burial plot that is located near Kuala Lumpur so that it's convenient for her children to visit in time to come.

On her arrival at the site office, she was fascinated by the serene landscape and the calm and clean environment.  Without much hesitation, she decided that the burial plot I have presented to her was to her satisfaction and upon conclusion of the purchase of plot, we proceeded to discuss about completing the Sheng Ji (meaning construction of the tombstone). 

Coincidentally, the 2014 lunar calendar of the Horse Year carries a leap month for September, which signifies eternal perpetuity as embodied in the numeric characters of 1499.  The next cycle for such a leap month will be in another 182 years from now.  This means the previous September leap month was dated way back to year 1832 and the next similar month will fall in the year 2109.  The ancient Chinese practice usually involves prospecting a burial site or 'Zhong Sheng Ji' during the leap year.  

Samantha's mum was eager to have her pre-planned Sheng Ji completed during the leap month in order to receive multiple blessings and prosperity.

They even went on to discuss about relocating their grandparents from Slim River and Ipoh respectively since it was their mum's wish for some time to reunite her parents.  To them, it was a daunting task as they haven't a clue how to go about doing it.

From my proposal tabulated on paper, they saw the sequence of events from the beginning to the completion of the works, timing for each process was planned out in detail. They were convinced that it can be done.

With the cooperation of a highly EFFICIENT TEAM of Nirvana staff, all the works including construction of a double burial plot tombstone to the relocation of both of Samantha's grandparents to Ming Palace 3 were completed within the leap month of September. Some of the pertinent issues which were addressed during this process were coordination and selection of auspicious days to avoid Chinese Zodiacs clashes with all parties involved, detailed checking with third parties for delivery of prayer materials and offerings and working hand in hand with relocation masters. All of these eventually saw to a Magical Achievement with all events planned and completed within a span of 2 months!
