Nirvana Chinese Buddhist Funeral Service

A 102 years old great-grandma passed away peacefully on arrival at a hospital near Petaling Jaya.  The family was informed by the hospital ER to make a Police Report at a nearby Police Station prior to releasing the remains to Nirvana for bereavement preparation.

I met grandma's daughter, Selena and her hubby at the Police Station to obtain the Death Registration Permit and proceeded with claiming the remains at the hospital.

Great-grandma left behind a lineage of 5 generations of descendants with many working abroad and cannot make it home to attend her funeral due to the enforcement of CMCO.

However, in order to accommodate all the family members that are currently in KL, they have decided to use our VIP Parlour which offers a bigger hall space that allows 30 pax capacity (from the normal 15 pax for all funerals under CMCO rules at our standard parlours)  so that more children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren can join in the prayers.

Traditionally for old folks aged above 100 years old, we will practise Red Lanterns funeral procedure, which sees the descendants wearing red and carry red lanterns signifies longevity for the deceased and it should be an occasion to celebrate and commemorate her long life.

A Buddhist wake prayer was performed and the late Mdm Koo was laid to rest along side of her beloved husband at Petaling Jaya Chinese Cemetery.

Nirvana Buddhist Funeral Service at Nirvana Shah Alam Center

Mrs. Ong called to inquire about the instant use of the Buddhist funeral service package from PutrajayaHospital. Her brother in law passed on at the hospital and was in urgent need to arrange his funeral.

I went straight to the hospital immediately and was able to assist them at the mortuary to see to the discharge and claiming the remains. The family was relieved at someone who was there to guide them thru and advise them what to prepare for the deceased.

I always feel that being there at the hospital with the family is the utmost crucial part of our service as the family was at a loss and needed much guidance to take the next step. This is the time we come in to assist and it’s where our caring services began.

The late Mr. Ong’s wake was at Nirvana Shah Alam Center and the family also bought his final resting place at the same park near Heritage Court.

With this one-stop Center, the funeral was conducted very smoothly all within walking distance, I.e the parlor,  the crematorium and the columbarium. We completed the cremation as well as picking up the ashes within the same day, including placing the urn at the temporary placement hall.

Nirvana funeral service - Parlour 23 (Sunflower Hall)

Mr J wanted a dignified farewell for his wife who passed away at a hospital in Putrajaya.

He rang me to make arrangements for his wife and told me his preferences and the level of attention that he requires of Nirvana.

I grasped his expectations and immediately made a booking of our most prestige parlour, the Sunflower Hall at Nirvana Memorial Center, Sungei Besi to cater to the big turn out that comprises of Mr J’s family members, relatives, friends and business associates.

The 3 nights Buddhist wake services were conducted smoothly with a continuous serving of food and beverages to the guests. Our service crew was ever attentive to the guests’ needs and everyone gave their thumbs up for a job well done.

Mr J was especially happy with our service that sees to his wife's funeral was carried out with the highest level of coordination in the delivery of service, be it from the wake venue set up, prayers, guests' comfort to overall Nirvana Operation team who ensure the smooth flow of the funeral departure ceremony.

The late Mrs J was laid to rest safely at Nirvana Semenyih Memorial Park and on the same day, we accompanied the family back home for the installation prayer of the tablet for the next 49 days prayer

Buddhist Wake Service at Nirvana Memorial Center

Datuk N called me one morning while I was On my way driving to HQ, that his mother in law has passed on at her home near PJ.

Datuk was quite clear with the need of calling an ambulance to certify the death of which he had already done so.  By the time I rushed over to the place, one of the brothers in law already went to a nearby police station to lodge the report.

While waiting for the relevant permit from the police, I conducted a briefing as to the flow of the funeral from the wake to the cremation. The family then prepares a few sets of clothing together with the deceased photo for us to take back to our center for preparation works. Our transport was soon arrived to pick up her remains.

Everything ran smoothly and the two nights Buddhist wakes were conducted at parlor 22, Nirvana Memorial Center. The cremation took place on the third day at Nirvana Shah Alam Memorial Park and later her ashes were carefully packed by our Nirvana Care Service Assistant in anticipation of the long-distance journey driving back to Sam Poh Tong temple, Ipoh.

The late Mdm Yam was finally reunited with her late husband with her ash urn placed next to him eternally.

Buddhist Funeral Service

On the second day of Chinese New Year, the late Mr Chang's daughter called me from Indonesia informed me of her father's sudden passing.  It was so sudden that it caught me off guard.  My worry was on his wife as we knew each other for such a long time. She was devastated but luckily she has her family together there and managing the arrangements of sending his remains back to Malaysia.

Nirvana was the consignee stated in the airway bill, as such we have a representative to help claim the remains at KLIA MAS cargo upon its arrival on a designated flight.

We have everything well coordinated; At Mr. Chang's home front setting up the canopies and altar, while concurrently we have the remains dressed up at Nirvana Memorial Center's mortuary and ready to take him home.

The family was ready to receive him with our Senior Service Consultant, Steven Tai on ground to guide them thru the prayer procedures.

A three days two nights Buddhist wake service was performed and completed peacefully by our Monks and the late Mr. Chang was cremated at Nirvana Shah Alam Memorial Park and his soul was rest eternally at Ming Palace 3 columbarium, the Chamber of Eternal Bliss.
