Nirvana Funeral Service FAQ

When a client calls me to enquire:

Question - Does Nirvana provide funeral service but the final resting place is at another memorial park?

Answer - Yes we do. Our team will go to the chosen wake destination for a full funeral service or if the wake is in KL then the funeral fleet will depart on the funeral day to the designated destination, nationwide. 

Question - Can I still buy Nirvana burial plot/urn compartment but engaging outside undertakers as service provider? 

Answer - Yes you can. Nirvana will extend its full cooperation to the third-party service provider to ensure a smooth completion of the funeral service. 

So, it does not matter if the funeral arrangement choices that you’ve made is completely or partially involving Nirvana, we will still be here for you, at your service, rain or shine.

On behalf of the Family of my late husband, Mr Lim Meng Kiat, I would like to express our appreciation of the overall assistance extended to us during our recent bereavement.

Our three-night wake conducted in your grand Sunflower Suite was facilitated by the posh ambience as well as commendable service by the following attending personnel:

(1) 'Ah Chan' Jieh - the friendly & efficient tea lady and her young assistant, who went beyond their regular duties to help us in (expertly & swiftly) folding the 'gold/silver money' in their free time, contributing to more than the required total of 10 bags for burning on the final night.

(2) The amiable 'Malay' female waitress on night duty who - without being asked (as we were busy) - attended to our guests during the wake, serving them drinks and snacks.

(3) All the other staff on duty at the lounge as well as buffet and drinks counter including the catering person himself who reminded and helped us to ta-pau(nightly) leftovers thus avoiding wastage.      Finally, special thanks to yourself for your efficiency and empathy in attending to our needs, not forgetting that you also requested one of your female colleagues to 'look after' me and my grand-daughter in the lobby while the cortege left for the crematorium.

Letter From a Gratified Client

Mrs Lim called me to inquire about Nirvana's funeral service package, to prepare in advance for her critically ill husband.

Mrs Lim brought along her three grown up children to attend our discussion and I explained the entire funeral process, that is upon the occurrence of death right up to the cremation and installation of the ash urn at its final resting place. The discussion was held at Tang Villa, Nirvana Shah Alam so that we could also visit the few phases of columbariums in order for them to choose an ideal place for their beloved father.

I have shortlisted in advance a few available niches with "good location, nice view and ideal level (height)" double urn compartments prior to meeting them, so that to save their time from going round the properties doing on-site selection. 

By preparing in advance with relevant information pertaining to the current month's promotions, discounts and complimentary gifts that come with specific products, it is not only portraying oneself's professionalism in terms of efficiency and accuracy, it is also, most importantly, matching the client's expectations and budget against the recommended products.  This is establishing the BULLS-EYE target. I am always a strong believer and subscribed to Zig-Ziglar's teachings - "A goal properly set is halfway reached."

At the end of the tour of Nirvana Shah Alam Memorial Park, the family made the decision to purchase a Funeral Service Package + a Double Urn Compartment that saved them 30% on the Funeral Service Package and a 20% special discount on the urn price.  The family was also given a Chinese New Year Prosperity Hamper valued at RM688.00.

The family was relieved that they have finally fulfilled their father's parting wish that is to make proper pre-planning before his last day to come, so that his beloved wife can be lightened from all the nitty gritty funeral arrangements.

The late Mr Lim passed away three days before Chinese New Year and the funeral was completed on the eve of the Chinese New Year. Mrs Lim was very gratified for the good service provided by Nirvana and its team. Nirvana Funeral Service Pre-Planning

Mr Tan called me on my mobile one late afternoon as I was almost reaching home.  He asked if I could meet him at Nirvana Shah Alam on short notice to discuss about the packages that are currently available. Sensing some anxiety from the tone of his voice, I made a U-turn immediately and headed over to Ming Palace III at Nirvana Shah Alam, where we've agreed to meet.

Upon meeting up, I realised that Mr Tan had actually spent sometime earlier checking out the entire place himself and was looking for someone who can provide with him with a comprehensive proposal to meet his pre-planning needs. He was making arrangements for his mother-in-law who was then ill and in critical condition at a hospital nearby.  At the same time, Mr Tan was also pre-planning for his own family.

After a round of detailed discussion, I noted that Mr Tan's overall pre-planning needs are in fact for four related families altogether.  Immediately thereafter, I headed back to prepare a comprehensive proposal which needs to be completed overnight so that he could discuss the same with the rest of the family members first thing in the morning.  Looking at it, they were advised by the doctor that some kind of "preparation" has got to be done on an urgent basis for Mr Tan's mother-in-law.

On the next day, I was called to meet with senior members of the families and after clarifying on some queries raised, the families then decided immediately to purchase the funeral service package, urn compartments and also ancestral tablets, as proposed.  I then proceeded with all the paperwork to formalise the purchase. For this pre-planning purchase of our bereavement products, Mr Tan is not only enjoying a substantial discount of packages, i.e 30% discount on Funeral Service Package, Cash discount on Ancestral Tablet, he and his family members also given complimentary gifts i.e. Air Asia Travel Wish Vouchers plus Full body Medical Check up Voucher that came along with the purchase of the various products.  At the time of writing this posting, all these complimentary gifts have since discontinued.

Coincidentally,  upon submission of all signed documents at the Sales Office, a distress call came thru with a misery bad news that Mr Tan's mother-in-law had just passed on.  Honestly, I am not an advocate of superstition believes but in this case, I am absolutely astounded by its perfect timing, there is nothing else to best describe this classic meaning of "Pre-Planning", right on the dot, spot on.

The subsequent wake and funeral service was conducted very smoothly as planned and the family members were all impressed with Nirvana's excellent service delivery.
