Mr Tan called me on my mobile one late afternoon as I was almost reaching home. He asked if I could meet him at Nirvana Shah Alam on short notice to discuss about the packages that are currently available. Sensing some anxiety from the tone of his voice, I made a U-turn immediately and headed over to Ming Palace III at Nirvana Shah Alam, where we've agreed to meet.
Upon meeting up, I realised that Mr Tan had actually spent sometime earlier checking out the entire place himself and was looking for someone who can provide with him with a comprehensive proposal to meet his pre-planning needs. He was making arrangements for his mother-in-law who was then ill and in critical condition at a hospital nearby. At the same time, Mr Tan was also pre-planning for his own family.
After a round of detailed discussion, I noted that Mr Tan's overall pre-planning needs are in fact for four related families altogether. Immediately thereafter, I headed back to prepare a comprehensive proposal which needs to be completed overnight so that he could discuss the same with the rest of the family members first thing in the morning. Looking at it, they were advised by the doctor that some kind of "preparation" has got to be done on an urgent basis for Mr Tan's mother-in-law.
On the next day, I was called to meet with senior members of the families and after clarifying on some queries raised, the families then decided immediately to purchase the funeral service package, urn compartments and also ancestral tablets, as proposed. I then proceeded with all the paperwork to formalise the purchase. For this pre-planning purchase of our bereavement products, Mr Tan is not only enjoying a substantial discount of packages, i.e 30% discount on Funeral Service Package, Cash discount on Ancestral Tablet, he and his family members also given complimentary gifts i.e. Air Asia Travel Wish Vouchers plus Full body Medical Check up Voucher that came along with the purchase of the various products. Coincidentally, upon submission of all signed documents at the Sales Office, a distress call came thru with a misery bad news that Mr Tan's mother-in-law had just passed on. Honestly, I am not an advocate of superstition believes but in this case, I am absolutely astounded by its perfect timing, there is nothing else to best describe this classic meaning of "Pre-Planning", right on the dot, spot on.
The subsequent wake and funeral service was conducted very smoothly as planned and the family members were all impressed with Nirvana's excellent service delivery.
