Catholic Funeral Service

Mr Tan called me a day earlier from University Hospital, PJ to find out what to do, should the eventuality arises as his mother has slipped into a coma in the ICU, and was being told by the doctor to prepare for the worst.

Under such circumstances, it is only fair to understand his feeling of helplessness in the cold hospital room.  The hint of a quaver in the voice coming from the other side of the phone speaks of his unreadiness to face the blatant fact.

I gave him my assurance that I will be there in time of need and see through the process with him.

The second day afternoon he ranged me up again requesting to mobilise our service crew ...

We met him at the hospital mortuary with him carrying all the left behind items by his mum in a few plastic bags.  Our immediate presence speak volume to him as it was just a mere 20 minutes after his call.  We gave him a strong sense of support in his hour of dire grief.

The late Mdm Lee's memorial prayers went very smoothly at Nirvana Memorial Center and the Funeral Mass took place at The Assumption Church, Petaling Jaya before the cremation at Nirvana Shah Alam.

The late Mdm Lee's ash urn was then installed and rest in peace at The Perpetual Garden, Nirvana Shah Alam.
