Buddhist Funeral Service During Chinese New Year #2

My client Mrs Tan called to inform of her mother-in-law's passing at a nursing home near Petaling Jaya on the third day of Chinese New Year.

Upon our arrival at the nursing home, there were more then 40 family members gathered there to send their mother/grand mother/great grand mother off when she took her last breath. 

Our Sales and Service Manager, Steven Tai took the son to PJ Police Station to lodge report and obtained the Burial Permit for funeral arrangements.

The family chose Nirvana Memorial Center, Sun Flower Suite (Parlor 23) for the wake service. During the two nights ceremony, the Tan family engaged a two piece band to perform songs in between prayer breaks in memory of their late granny, some family members even took over the microphone to express how much they miss their loved one thru songs she liked most.  It was emotional yet memorable to all in attendance.

The funeral procession was on the third day and cremation was held at Nirvana Shah Alam. The late Mrs Tan's ash urn was reunited with her late husband who passed away in year 2010.  His funeral was also handled by our Nirvana service team and myself.  

Each of the Nirvana service team members were given an "Ang Pow" at the end of the service by Mr Tan as a sincere gesture of gratitude. They were very happy with all the arrangements done in perfect manner.
