Perhaps this is one of the stronger women that I have came across working with Nirvana, talking about oneself's pre-planning funeral ahead of "time".
Mdm Leong has no qualms in revealing her actual conditions to me, on our several meetings at Nirvana Shah Alam.
Her ever cool and steady upfront image had unshakably stayed in my mind for years as she was such a lovely woman who is apparently battling with a terminal disease. She said if she is lucky enough we will get to meet for a few more years... if not months. My hat's off to you, Mdm Leong, for being so brave in facing the inevitable. Tears started dwelling up in my eyes and I was lost for words...
Sitting in front of her late husband's urn compartment at Heritage Court, a very cooling, serene and well landscaped columbarium, her sweet smiles and calm body language never failed in sending me stern messages that all she wanted was a dignified send off and ultimately that she gets to reunite with her late husband.
She has her wishes came thru where all her family members and good friends closest to her hearts were with her in her last moments.
A complete Buddhist funeral ritual was carried out at Nirvana Memorial Center, VIP Hall 23 ( Parlor Marigold) and her remains was cremated at Nirvana Shah Alam and her ash urn was finally being laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
Rest in Eternal Peace, Mdm Leong.
