Relocation Ceremony ~ the Buddhism Way

Mdm Mak came to me with many questions on how to perform a most memorable enlightenment prayer on the occasion of relocating her mother's ash urn from KL Kwang Tong Columbarium to Nirvana Shah Alam.

Her beloved mother passed away some 20 years ago, back then, her family did not have the means to offer her a proper farewell, and now, Mdm Mak feels that she is financially capable to sort of "compensate" her a grander way to move into her new "home".

Beside inviting various Buddhist groups to offer prayer and recite chanting during the installation ceremony,  Mdm Mak had also invited some old folks from Ti-Ratana Old Folks home to join in the session and made a generous donation to the Ti-Ratana Welfare Society.

Mdm Mak had demonstrated a real Buddhism way of "Giving and Loving Kindness", the respect for all the Buddhist Masters and compassion to all the old folks. We hope that the fruits of giving will in return bless her with infinite happiness to the family, as her kind action had generated immense ripple effects in the heart of not only her children and grand children, but all who had helped and witnessed the ceremony.

The day had ended with a sumptuous buffet lunch and lighting the fire crackers as a symbol of prospering the "home".
